Polkadex has a diverse multicultural team led by 3 co-founders: Vivek Prasannan, Ajeesh Kumar and Sreecharan Kunutur.
Vivek Prasannan, Executive Director of Polkadex, has a Btech Computer Engineering degree. He is passionate about decentralized computing and has been actively following the blockchain and cryptocurrency community since 2013. He has researched and worked on a new BSIP (Bitshares Improvement Proposal) for Bitshares that will enable off-chain activities to be settled transparently on the blockchain and savings accounts to be created for the users that are locked for a certain time to enhance fund security. Vivek is an entrepreneur who has founded, developed and successfully exited two start-ups in cloud computing, infrastructure support, and fintech space. His engineering knowledge includes C++, RUST & Substrate Framework.
Ajeesh Kumar, CEO of Polkadex, is a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record of building and growing successful businesses, currently serving as CEO of Polkadex, a decentralized trading platform revolutionizing the cryptocurrency exchange landscape through blockchain technology. His leadership is defined by a commitment to innovation and establishing Polkadex as a premier platform in the decentralized finance space. Ajeesh's entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Ideamine Technologies and Empressem Technologies, two Kochi-based IT firms that were acquired by Netrix LLC in 2017. He turned a sales inquiry into an acquisition offer, highlighting the impressive growth and potential of the companies under Ajeesh's leadership.
Sreecharan Kunutur, CTO of Polkadex,With over 18 years of experience across Telecom, Fintech, AI, and Web 3 domains, he is a results-driven specialist dedicated to transforming the future of finance through decentralized technologies. Since 2006, He’s been at the forefront of tech innovation, and since 2017, I’ve concentrated on AI and Web 3, with a passion for advancing Fintech and DeFi. With a strong foundation in tech and a clear vision for the future, he continues to drive the adoption of decentralized finance, empowering businesses and individuals with innovative, secure, and impactful solutions.
